Subscription Price: Blooom’s support subscription costs CA$5.00 per month. This is currently the only subscription plan available (no alternative tiers or pricing options).
Optional Support: Subscribing is completely optional and exists solely to support the Blooom project. Blooom is an Activities & Dating, ad-supported app kept free for everyone (about 1 ad every 10 profiles). The subscription adds no paid features and, where available, removes ads for subscribers.
Payment Processing: All payments for the subscription are handled through the respective app marketplace (for example, the Apple App Store on iOS or Google Play Store on Android). Blooom itself does not directly process payments or store any of your billing information; all transactions are managed securely by the app store platform.
No Refund Policy: Subscription payments are non-refundable. Once you subscribe and the monthly fee has been charged, that amount will not be refunded — even if you cancel the subscription or stop using the service before the end of the billing period. Please be sure you want to subscribe before confirming the purchase, as refunds for subscription fees cannot be provided.
Cancellation: You may cancel the subscription’s auto-renewal at any time through your App Store or Play Store account settings. After canceling, you will continue to enjoy benefits (such as ad removal where available) until the end of the current paid month, but the subscription will not renew thereafter and you will not be charged again. There are no penalties or fees for canceling; it simply stops any future payments.
Standalone Benefit: The support subscription is a standalone, optional purchase and not part of any bundled offer. All core features of Blooom remain available to all users without a subscription (with advertising supported). The subscription’s primary benefit is supporting Blooom’s ongoing development and, where available, removing ads.
